固滨笼（格宾石笼）是由机编双绞合六边形金属网面构成的箱形结构，
固滨笼的钢丝是由厚镀锌低碳钢丝制造而成的。为了提高固滨笼结构的强度，所有的钢丝网面板边端都采用直径更大的钢丝，对固滨笼的钢丝可进行厚镀高尔凡处理来提高钢丝的耐久性。
当用于土壤或水呈酸性的污染环境中时，还可对钢丝采用覆塑等措施进行保护。
固滨笼是由间隔1m的隔板分成若干单元格，固滨笼即在格宾网里填充石头，形成了具有柔性，透水性及整体性的结构。
